🌍 Business Transformation Expert 💫 Alignment Mentor 🔗 Change Architect 🌤 Leadership Coach 🚀 (Geo-)Information manager 🌍 Speaker 🎤 Nominated for Best European Speaker 2018 by Professional Speakers Academy
I believe in:
- The person behind the professional.
Because I’m convinced that everybody has talents no matter what education or training programs you have completed. Talents that may not have been discovered yet.
- Effortless success.
When passionate professionals use their talents they can make a difference in society. ‘Work’ can be so much more than ‘just work’.It can make the world brighter.
- Creating vital organizations and successful businesses by aligning the talents of passionate employees and managers with the mission of their organization. This creates a vital and inspiring environment where people love to contribute.
The key is to align personal talents & values with the business mission. This is why I mentor both professionals and organizations to initiate and implement the change that is so often needed.
In the last 20 years, I became an expert in raising awareness among people and organizations to achieve what today’s ambitious society demands from us: Contribute in a meaningful way, based on who we truly are.
30 years experience
As a former tour guide, information manager and current business consultant and leadership coach, I have 30 years of experience in guiding professionals in changing business environments.
Where the magic happens
Strongly rooted in my academic background in Geomorphology and Geo-ICT in which I did learn to analyze changing landscapes, I have guided many (governmental) organizations through complex change processes. The key is to connect the more explicit business areas of organizational processes, information channels and organizational structures with the more implicit personal areas of corporate culture, individual talents, key values, and leadership. It is at the intersection of these two seemingly different worlds where the magic happens.
Sustainable change from within
My experience extends from non-profit and profit organizations to individuals where the focus always lies on the change from within. No transformation without participation. So I emphasize more on the team behind the organization, the professional behind the team, the person behind the professional up to the talent & values behind the person. Sustainable change is about alignment. Alignment between the professional and the organization, between personal talents and the business mission.
“Contribute in a meaningful way, based on who we truly are”
Born on the day that Martin Luther King died, I also have a huge dream.
I dream of a joyful world filled with passionate people, who as a professional do best what they enjoy most having fun, being happy and staying healthy, while love working and being effortlessly successful their whole life. In that way we build motivational and positive business cultures.
My vision? I’m building a global movement of passionate professionals who are confident, proud and happy to show who they truly are confident, proud and happy to show who they really are being in businesses, instead of holding on to a “professional façade” that keeps them stereotyped and small. No matter what educational level they have or where they are on their career path, meeting up to their own potential.
It is my mission is to inspire, touch and encourage at least a billion professionals worldwide to remain themselves and be successful while working effortlessly.
I love seeing people having fun in their work and meeting up to their potential. This is why I mentor both professionals as organizations to reinvent themselves, their team and organization to get the best results.
It makes me happy to help people build their confidence to use their talents as part of everyday life. I’ve seen so many people gaining positive energy every day by doing the things they love and creating the lifestyle they want.
Born on the day Martin Luther King died, I have a huge dream, like he had.
A substantial part of my drive to stimulate people to chase their dreams comes from my own story. I know from my own experience what it is like to be discouraged to do what you really like, when you don’t succeed to meet the standards of the systems you’re trying so hard to fit in, and how it feels when your worth is not being recognized personally and professionally. You literally die!
By giving others the knowledge and insights that I have gained in my life, I want to spare others the struggle I have gone trough. It provides a faster track to create the life of your dreams.
One day I solemnly promised myself that after my recovery I would use all my creativity to live by MY talents, MY values, MY BEING…. Fitting into the systems in which I am personally and professionally choose to be.
My experience has taught me how to stand out, while fitting in.
And today I keep my promise. The systems and rules are still there and we must adapt to them on a certain level. And I still work very hard. But this time full of passion for those things that I like. I do what I find important and what makes a difference to others. And I can tell you that it is much easier to maintain. In my opinion, I seldom feel that I am “working”.
My experiences have taught me that you can always do things in such a way that it makes you happy, even if the circumstances are not your favorites.
This is why I am so passionate about connecting individual talent to professional missions. In this connection, we can make gold.
